60 minute song challenge

Because I have nothing better to do, I decided to do this… uh, meme. It’s supposed to be done in thirty days, but… I’m going to do it in much less than that. I don’t really feel like waiting.

Let the 30 day  60 minute song challenge commence!

Day 1 – your favourite song

Right now, it’s Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd. It’s just… whoa. Yes, the video clip is incredibly weird.

Day 2 – your least favourite song.

Oh, God. Basically anything that’s  rap or hip-hop or manele. I’m just gonna leave this here and quietly walk away.

Day 3 – a song that makes you happy.

Wow… um, that’s a hard one. Ah, maybe this : High pressure low by Against Me!

“Happy” si not really waht it makes me feel like, but I’m smiling when I listen to it, I guess that counts for something, right?

Day 4 – a song that makes you sad

There are sooo many. Including my favourite song… but for the sake of not repeating myself, here’s another one:

I heard it on Supernatural in 2×17. It was supposed to be the best episode ever, because it had werewolves in it, and Sam finally found someone to love, but then he had to go and KILL her.  :(

Day 5 – a song that reminds you of someone.

Yes. Well.

Day 6 – a song that reminds you of somewhere

Okay… this is another hard one. Let’s say Metallica – Unforgiven II. Because my roommate in England listened to it, and it remainds me of England.

Day 7 –  a song that reminds you of a certain event

Zagreeeb – European Figure Skating Championships 2008. Tommy won

Day 8 – a song that you know all the words to

Because it’s too awesome to not know all the words.

Day 9 –  a song that you can dance to

Can I say pass? I don’t really dance… at all.

Day 10 – a song that makes you fall asleep and feel relaxED.

The guy is Amazing. With capital A.

Day 11 – a song from your favorite band

Because this is the song that made it my favourite band.

Day 12 – a song from a band you hate

Don’t hit me please. Some of their songs are really awesome, and I listen to them sometimes when I feel like I can get past Axl Rose’s voice. God, it grates on my nerves. It’s… scratchy. And yes, I love Novemeber Rain, it could even have been one of my favourite songs. But his VOICE. God.

Day 13 – a song that is a guilty pleasure

I have no words for this. It’s awful. But I still like it, and I’ll post the video that made me like it. Because Robert Downey Jr. is just that awesome. Seriously, the clips with him in that black fedora are just… ohdeargod, and the timing with the song is just perfect. Guh.

Day 14 – a song that no one would expect you to love

Well, any rock song would make everyone go “Really? You like that? Wow, wouldn’t have thought.”

Day 15 – a song that describes you

I don’t really think such a song exists.  Or if it does, I haven’t heard it yet. No, wait, I’m lying. Oops. Here it is:

Especially the part with : “What the hell am I doing here? I don’t belong here…”

Day 16 – a song that you used to love but now hate

Well, not hate. I don’t suddenly start hating songs, especially ones I used to love, I’m just not listening to it anymore.

(now this made me want to listen to it again.)

Day 17 –  a song that you hear often on the radio

Well, I used to hear it on the radio, now not really. After all, that’s how I found out about it.

I refuse to post anything Lady Gaga related or Justin Beiber related.

Day 18 – song that you wish you heard on the radio

Because it’s really sweet.

Day 19 – a song from your favorite album

I don’t have such a thing. But have a Greenday song:

Day 20 – a song that you listen to when you’re angry

This… this is the ultimate angry!song. It’s also sung by Jeremy Irons which makes it even more awesome. He has such a pretty voice, and I’m not only talking about his singing voice, but also his speaking voice (along with Alan Rickman, who has the Gold Medal in awesome voices, Benedict Cumberbatch – the best name EVER -, Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson. What does it tell you that all these guys are British?)

Day 21 – a song that you listen to when you’re happy

Not really, no. But I didn’t know what else to put here, so here you go. It’s from the Sherlock Holmes movie soundtrack, that is really enough to make me happy.

Day 22 – a song that you listen to when you’re sad

Because it makes me… not feel. It makes me think “The hell with this, why do I care about something that does not matter?”

Day 23 – a song that you want to play at your wedding

Day 24 – a song that you want to play at your funeral

I listened to this song non-stop for the past few days. I think it’s fitting, and not just because it is called “The Funeral”

Day 25 – a song that makes you laugh

This song was the first song that came to mind. God, it’s hillarious. And his expressions! His hands! I’m LOLing so hard right now.

Day 26 – a song that you can play on an instrument

Well… toy piano is really not an instrument, and I can only play the part at the beginning, before it gets too complicated. But I think it counts, cause I can’t play any other songs.

Day 27 – a song that you wish you could play

Because… it’s too beautiful.

Day 28 – a song that makes you feel inspired and creative

For some reason, this song. I wrote more while listening to it, than most other songs.

Day 29 – a song from your childhood

God, I loved this song when I was about… 4.

Day 30 – a song that makes you want to help the world, help the environment, end poverty, help society…

Because this is what this song is mostly about.
