Things that might help in life
05/07/2009
First of all, I need to tell you that our life means the people whom we love. And it’s not a good thing living without friendship and love.
1. NEVER, under any circumstances, betray your friends. That’s not a good thing, for you or for them.
2. Think long and deep before you make any decision or wish. Wise decisions are always better and can mean the difference between life and death, even if not yours or someone close to you.
3. Believe. In everything you choose to, not necessarily in what people tell you to.
4. Love. Whoever you want. No one stops you. No one can stop what you feel.
5. Smile. Every chance you get.
6. A life can change in twenty seconds. Pay attention.
7. Also, it might help to know who your friends are. It’s all you can do, after all.
That’s… all, I think. Anyway, I think this will be continued sometime.
Morphing powers
17/04/2009
(MAJOR INSANITY BELOW.) (Don’t say I didn’t warn you.)
I once dreamt that I had morphing powers. The ability to turn into one animal my soul resembled. And I was a small brick-red cat with white paws. And it felt… cool! I remember exactly how it felt: the shrinking feeling and the way fur started coating me. I think that it may well be the best feeling in the world, morphing the way I did in that dream.
I have no doubt, whatsoever, that if tomorrow scientists found a way to transform into an animal, that I’d be the small brick-red cat, with white paws. Why am I so sure, you ask? Well, the animal we transform would be our soul, the way it would look in animal shape. And honestly, when was the last time you saw a cat that color? And I don’t mean the ordinary, light orange you see on cats, I’m talking a way darker shade tinged with red. I think that’d mean “unique”. I’m not bragging, it just looks like I do.
I think it would be, like, a lot easier to go through life, knowing you have that animal inside you, that can come to your help, even if your animal is something like… a humming bird. Say, you are sad, something happened, and you don’t want to think about it anymore. What do you do? Morph. Animals don’t know saddness. And if they do, they know how to deal with it. Wolves howl. So do dogs. I’m just saying it would be a total relief to transform an animal, no matter the fact that causes us stress.
I told you it was insane. I just like to think about this stuff.
In hopes that morphing technology will be found soon,

The Catcher in the Rye
15/04/2009
Ce pot sa spun… “De veghe in lanul de secara” de J.D. Salinger e genial. Adica… mie chiar mi-a placut. Chiar daca nu se intampla cine shtie ce (finalul a fost destul de brusc.)
E vorba despre baiatul asta, Holden Caulfield, care tocmai a fost dat afara de la scoala pentru ca picat la 4 dintre cele 5 materii. Toate, in afara de engleza. Poveste incepe sambata cand pleaca de la scoala deshi nu trebuia sa plece decat miercuri, cand incepea vacantza de Craciun. Se cazeaza la un hotel in New York shi trece prin diverse patzanii. (Asta e rezumatul rezumatului rezumatului rezumatului.)
Unde se duc ratzele din Central Park iarna? Unde?
Cateva citate:
I live in New York, and I was thinking about the lagoon in Central Park, down near Central Park South. I was wondering if it would be frozen over when I got home, and if it was, where did the ducks go? I was wondering where the ducks went when the lagoon got all icy and frozen over. I wondered if some guy came in a truck and took them away to a zoo or something. Or if they just flew away.
The Catcher in the Rye
Holden Caulfield in Chapter 1
When I really worry about something, I don’t just fool around. I even have to go to the bathroom when I worry about something. Only, I don’t go. I’m too worried to go. I don’t want to interrupt my worrying to go.
The Catcher in the Rye
Holden Caulfield in Chapter 6
People always clap for the wrong things.
The Catcher in the Rye
Holden Caulfield in Chapter 12
I’m always saying “Glad to’ve met you” to somebody I’m not at all glad I met. If you want to stay alive, you have to say that stuff, though.
The Catcher in the Rye
Holden Caulfield in Chapter 12
If a girl looks swell when she meets you, who gives a damn if she’s late? Nobody.
The Catcher in the Rye
Holden Caulfield in Chapter 17
People never give your message to anybody.
The Catcher in the Rye
Holden Caulfield in Chapter 20
It’s funny. All you have to do is say something nobody understands and they’ll do practically anything you want them to.
The Catcher in the Rye
Holden Caulfield in Chapter 21
Anyway, I keep picturing all these little kids playing some game in this big field of rye and all. Thousands of little kids, and nobody’s around – nobody big, I mean – except me. And I’m standing on the edge of some crazy cliff. What I have to do, I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff – I mean if they’re running and they don’t look where they’re going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That’s all I do all day. I’d just be the catcher in the rye and all. I know it’s crazy, but that’s the only thing I’d really like to be.
The Catcher in the Rye
Holden Caulfield in Chapter 22
Don’t ever tell anybody anything. If you do, you start missing everybody.
